It’s less of a jump than you’d think. Through Theatre, I learned valuable skills that apply to strategic branding. I studied how to empathize with people completely different than myself - understanding their motivations and the impact emotions have on decision-making processes.
Also - presentations are theatrical masterpieces. It’s storytelling. And I’ve studied the art of making audiences feel something. And isn’t that the point of branding?

While I love research and diving into the psyche of consumers, I can wear many hats. I dabble in content creation, as well as design, which has helped me translate creative ideas to the teams responsible for execution.
At Brandcenter, I’ve had the opportunity to hone my design thinking through app development and iterative stages of design, including prototyping and testing. Additionally, I enjoy shooting and editing videos which you can check out on the “Shorts” tab above.

Hospitals need to be accredited in order to remain open through surveys done by accrediting organizations (like DNV).
I convinced my VP that a creative approach to staff education would be best. I understood that as an employee, sitting through a dry presentation was not going to produce the best results.
I developed a podcast with my partner to add life into the dry topic of quality improvement. As a result, SAI passed last year’s survey with top marks. Additionally, the response from the staff was so positive, that we’ve been asked to return this year - where we are using a broadcast news framework to educate creatively.

Truthfully, I’m better in Figma, but I can hold my own with the rest of them. Google and Youtube have become my friends :)
